BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:10 P.M.) – A U.S. teenage was recently captured by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) while he was embedded with the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) in the Deir Ezzor Governorate, the Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG) reported on Wednesday.

The U.S. teenager was reportedly captured with seven other Islamic State members during a special operation by the Syrian Democratic Forces in the Deir Ezzor province.

“8 ISIS terrorists of foreign origins have been captured in a special operation by our counter-terrorism units in Deir al-Zour,” the YPG reported.

According to the YPG’s official media wing, the eight foreign ISIS fighters were identified as Adil Rahimov, 58, of Uzbekistan; Ferhad Qaderov, 28, of Uzbekistan; Sattibek Oshibaev, 30, of Kazakhistan; Soulay Noah Su, 16, of the United States; Mohammad Dawlat, 22, of Tajikistan; Askar Zarmanbetov, 27, of Ukraine; Lucas Glaß, 31, of Germany; and Bimuraev Begjan, 30, of Russia.

Previously, the Syrian Democratic Forces busted an Islamic State cell that was operating inside the town of Al-Shafah.

This Islamic State cell had five members inside, including two U.S. nationals.
