BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:30 P.M.) – The U.S. naval ship that carried out the attack against the Syrian government in April has reportedly returning to its home port in California, ABC 10 News reported.
The guided-missile destroyer U.S.S. Higgins is scheduled to return to its home port in San Diego later today.
The U.S.S. Higgins was one of three U.S. naval vessels that carried out the attack against the Syrian government in mid-April.
The ship reportedly fired 23 missiles towards the Syrian government areas from the northern waters of the Arabian Gulf.
