DAMASCUS, SYRIA (5: 10 P.M.) – The US-led coalition will establish a new military base for the FSA-affiliated Maghawir al-Thawra group in al-Shaddadi town, northeastern Syria, the political advisor of FSA, Abu Yacoub, said.

According to the advisor, the aim of this new garrison is to deploy the US-backed fighters who will eventually attempt to capture the ISIS-held Deir Ezzor city.

Up to 150 fully-equipped fighters will be deployed to the new base.

Al-Shaddadi – the oil-rich area located to the south of Hasakah – will be the third US-established base in the war-torn country after setting up two bases in al-Tand and Zukuf along the Syrian-Iraqi borders.

In a related context, the FSA media spokesman, Saeed Seif, said the US military intends to set up the new base for being unsatisfied by the results achieved by the predominantly-Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces in fighting against the Islamic State in the north.”

This was a predictable consequence of moving jihadis from al-Tanf and al-Zuqf to al-Shaddadi. The Tigers need to press down the right bank of the Euphrates, the Palmyra squad need to take al-Sukhna quick and the southern group to take T2 and close on DeZ. Hopefully the Iraqis can take al-Qaim.
No time to be lost: the DeZ garrison need relief, but their heroism mustn’t be in vain, by loss to the American invader!

I don’t think Muricans will install for good : it’s politically too hot.
Actually, the strike on Shayrat airbase could even be used to impeach
the Trump without problems and Congress is pretty unlikely to sign a
declaration of war.
The biggest issue is Turkey, no matter what some may think.

Nope, just made to please neo-cons and dem-hawks + MSM and get out of this s**t while looking cool. Actually, it has nothing to do about some “usrahell” controlling land! It had (I’ve written HAD) to do with the pipeline war! The one on all pipelines linked to EU but the Norwegian ones! Everything coming from Russia or Africa through Ukraine, Belarus, Ivory Cost, Nigeria, Niger, Algeria, Libya was on the list to be fucked! Uranium mines in Mali and Chad too! The goal in Syria was to build a pipeline from Qatar to EU transiting by, plan A :… Read more »
