Rear Admiral Bret Batchelder of the United States military has said that 16 targets in Iraq and Syria have been struck by US Navy fighter jets deployed in the eastern Mediterranean Sea.
“We’re getting the job done,” the commander said.
He went onto say that ISIS’ oil and gas revenues have plunged to $250 million.
The commander then went onto emphasise that the eastern Mediterranean operation demonstrates that the US Navy is capable of striking anywhere in the world.
He suggested that Libya could also be another target to strike ISIS militants.
