BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:45 P.M.) – U.S. Air Force drones reportedly attacked a vehicle carrying two jihadist rebel commanders in the Idlib Governorate, local activists claimed on Wednesday.
These social media activists claimed that a U.S. Coalition attack drone carried out 3 airstrikes on a group of jihadist rebels traveling around the Idlib countryside.
The airstrikes reportedly killed the two jihadist rebel commanders from Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (formerly Al-Nusra Front), while also destroying the vehicle they were in and 3 motorcycles that were part of their convoy.
The Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham commanders were identified by local activists as Abu Anas Al-Masri and Abu Akrimah Al-Tunsi.
Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham also lost an estimated 10 other fighters that were traveling with the jihadist commander during the U.S. Coalition’s airstrikes on Wednesday.
