BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:20 P.M.) – The U.S. State Department issued a press statement on Friday that defended Israel’s “right to self-defense” inside Syria.

“The United States fully supports Israel’s right to defend itself against Iranian regional actions that endanger Israeli national security and the safety of the Israeli people,” the statement began.

“Iranian support of and supply to terrorist groups in Syria and across the region that have the clear intent and capability to strike Israel are unacceptable. The United States fully supports Israel’s right to defend itself against the Iranian regime’s aggressive adventurism, and we will continue to ensure that Israel has the military capacity to do so decisively,” the State Department said.

They would add that it’s “the commitment of the Trump Administration and the American people to ensuring Israel’s security is both enduring and unshakable.”

Contrasting the State Department’s claims of attacking the Iranian forces in Syria, the Syrian Arab Army said that the Israeli airstrikes hit their 4th Armored Division’s base inside the west Damascus town of Qatana.

The US supremacists support the Isreali supremacists it seems.

p.s. Maybe they will understand when others will start to defend themselves in the US.

Weird comparison as US does not allow foreign military or militia on its soil that threaten to destroy any neighbour of the US, which Syria does. All in all a stupid remark.

@Karel, I do know how the US went havoc when false claims by the UK reported Germans in the US vicinity during WW I.

My comment was meant to make readers thing.

BTW. You could consider the Bin Laden’s World Trade Center attack as such a defense in the US. The US were not so amused when it hit them. And the US considered it an unfair attack.

@Stern; It was not Bin Laden who brought the 3 towers down on 9/11. I think you need to look within the US government itself and members of it’s dual citizenry who control the important seats in congress, for a more accurate picture of who carried out that attack.

@rabbe, I do not believe in mystic self attacks.

But I sure think that the US hawks used the occasion.

And I also think that many people who have more than one citizenship lead a state and most of the rest who lead are bought via their election financing.

@ Karel. Au contraire, the foreign influence that controls the US is a fifth column that is embedded so deep in the govt that it is able to threaten any sovereign nation in the world. It has kept the US in a perpetual state of war for the past 70 yrs. Can you guess which nation it is Karel ?

@rabbe, You mean things like Google: ‘The Lobby’ – Censored Investigative Documentary on the Jewish Lobby in America – but in reality they mostly are native US citizens who work for the benefit of their religious homeland. So the influence is not so foreign.

@ Stern; I wasn’t referring to that documentary ” the lobby” in particular, though it certainly adds weight to who pulls the strings of the US govt. I think you’ll find that the majority of important positions in the congress are occupied by Israeli firsters who hold dual citizenship. Their true allegiance is indeed to the ” homeland” ? and not to the US.

@rabbe, I knew it for a long time but I found the details interesting. US Jews are a big politically interested group and thought most are primarily US loyalist You can satisfy almost all with being pro Israel.

@rabbe, I find it a little embarrassing to be singled out. I guess it is because I posted much. Actually my status depends on whether I log in with Yahoo or Google+. It is much lower with Google+.

When you say the Iranians are supporting terrorists, are you referring to the Syrian people, perhaps?

ONLY ISRAEL AND UNITED STATES WILL ATTACK YOU THAN CLAIM THEY ARE DEFENDING THEMSELVES.

Yes this is the same excuse they used for the over 200 times the Israeli government attacked Syria. Comes the time when you got to demand credible evidence rather than the same old mantra ” Israel has the right to defend itself. For those of us who actually think, this mantra is an insult to ones intellegence.

This statement is a Syria-specific Balfour declaration. Implications the same.
