BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:00 P.M.) – The U.S. military is constructing a new military base in Syria’s northeastern province of Al-Hasakah, despite President Donald Trump’s claims of withdrawing troops from the country in the near future.
According to Twitter user @Obretix, the U.S. military base is located between the Al-Hasakah towns of Tal Tamer and Tal Baydar.
This new base will also have an airfield that is similar to the other U.S. installations in Syria.

Recently, French President Emmanuel Macron called on Trump to extend the stay of his troops in Syria, which is similar to the Saudi Crown Prince’s statement that was made earlier this month in Paris.
