BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:15 A.M.) – The US-backed rebels launched an offensive along the Jordanian border this weekend, targeting the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) recently captured border-posts in the Al-Sweida Governorate.

Led by Jaysh Al-Assoud Al-Sharqiyah and Ahmad ‘Abdo Brigade Brigade, the Free Syrian Army (FSA) stormed three garrison points along the Jordanian border on Sunday, while the US Coalition watched from afar.

Unable to break-through the Syrian Army’s lines, the Free Syrian Army was forced to fall back across the Jordanian border after suffering several casualties.

Hezbollah’s official media wing release footage on late Sunday of the Syrian Army repelling the Free Syrian Army’s attack:

Despite this recent FSA attack, the Syrian Arab Army is in the process of clearing several garrisons along the Homs Governorate border with both Iraq and Jordan.
