On Thursday morning, the U.S. backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) reportedly liberated another village in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo after confronting a large force from the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) near the strategic city of Menbeij.
According to YPG’s (Kurdish forces) media wing, the Syrian Democratic Forces liberated the small village of Fares ‘Ajour in the east Menbeij countryside, leaving them within 12 km of the aforementioned city.
As a result of their advance this morning in the east Menbeij countryside, the Syrian Democratic Forces are now at the fringes of Al-Madasah, where they are involved in a violent battle with the Islamic State terrorists.
