DAMASCUS, SYRIA (9:10 A.M.) – Rebel groups in northern Hama countryside continue to launch sporadic attacks against the government forces in a blatant violations for the de-escalation zone agreement.
The FSA-affiliated, US-backed Jaish al-Izza rebel group targeted, with an ATGM, a checkpoint for the Syrian Army in Masasneh village. The rebel group said the assault comes to retaliated SAA’s continuous shelling on Lataminah town.
Following the attack, artillery units of the Syrian Army pounded the group’s positions and headquarters in its stronghold of Lataminah.
