BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:20 P.M.) – The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were able to recapture the strategic Division 17 Base in eastern Raqaa, Saturday, following heavy airstrikes from the Anti-ISIL Coalition.

The capture of the Division 17 Base by the Syrian Democratic Forces comes just 24 hours after they conceded the installation to the Islamic State (ISIL) terror organization.

As a result of their field operations, Saturday, the Syrian Democratic Forces are steadily advancing into Raqqa City from three different axes, forcing the Islamic State to abandon several important points.

The name ‘Syrian Democratic Forces’ for these mostly foreign US controlled mercenaries is completely detached from reality. Most are neither Syrian to be called as such and much less democratic, since they have not been elected by the Syrian people.

Komrads doesn’t give a fuck about the US and BTW, Milan ATGMs or Giat 20mm autocannons don’t come from the USA. Thanks to other Turkish-Kurds komrads and parachuting of gear by EU, YPG fucks IS, YPG fucks Qaeda and on the other side of the border, HPG shoots down Turkish choppers! Any way, it’s high time to do a Sèvres treaty v.2.0 and slice Turkey like a cake. The long time occupation of… Read more »

“and much less democratic, since they have not been elected by the Syrian people” => SAA left the Kurds to die in the hands of IS/Qaeda-FSA and other Turkish-backed shithadists. Rojava’s constitution is patterned on the Swiss one, this is DIRECT DEMOCRACY, baby! If ANY state lets its people to die in the hands of terrorist by having the army fleeing without evacuating populations, this state loses ANY right. Syrian state can be happy that PYD doesn’t reclaims more than Syria becoming a federal state, solution which BTW is as much backed by Putin as by the EU. I don’t… Read more »
