BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:20 P.M.) – The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reached the Iraqi border, today, after making a big advance from the Tanak Oil Fields.

Backed by the US Coalition, the Deir Ezzor Military Council of the SDF pushed towards the northern countryside of Albukamal this morning, capturing several kilometers of desert terrain from the Islamic State (ISIS).

As a result of this advance, the SDF has effectively cutoff the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) from the border-crossings located north of Albukamal city.

While the Syrian Army has liberated all of the major cities in Deir Ezzor, they do not control the province’s largest oil fields and now they are unable to push north along the Iraqi border.

The Syrian government forves still can through Iraq of they don’t wnt go assert their legitimate right by simply confronting the US proxies directly. Thing is the Russians don’t want them to do that. If they did, the Rissians would have helped them continue pushing to the Eastern banks of the Euphrates river as soon as al-Bukamal was liberated. The more territory the illegal US controlled invasion occupation terror groups seize, the longer and more difficult it is to have peace on Syria. Syria will have to fight the US colonial nvasion forces to reclaim its land and resources.

Certainly creates a massive no -mans land under ” control ” of the SDF on the border with Iraq where ISIS can regather and have training camps isolated from Syrian and Iraqi forces . Mind you that area will be patrolled by the ISIS , oops sorry USA air force.
