BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:20 A.M.) – The Islamic State (IS) and US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) agreed to a one month long ceasefire in the Al-Hasakah Governorate (Wilayat Al-Baraka), a recently discovered ISIS document revealed.

According to Middle East analyst Aymenn Al-Tamimi, the agreement between the two parties was confirmed by the Islamic State activist Abu ‘Imad Al-Nayrabi.

“Among terms of the cease: oil wells still controlled by IS remain under its control, fighters can leave for treatment, no obstruction of entry and leaving of goods to territory of either side, hotline to coordinate ceasefire and minimize risk of mistakes etc. document found in 1 of isil offices talks about apparent ceasefire agreement for a month with the Syrian Democratic Forces in Wilayat al-Baraka aka Hasakah province,” Tamimi added.

While the Islamic State does not have a relatively large presence in the Al-Hasakah Governorate anymore, they still control several small villages in the eastern part of the province.

The official spokesperson for the Syrian Democratic Forces has not commented on this alleged agreement with the Islamic State.
