BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:30 P.M.) – The US-backed Mughawir Al-Thuwra forces captured 11 suspected Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists in southern Syria this week.

According to the official media wing of Operation Inherent Resolve, the rebel force captured these suspected Islamic State terrorists in southern Syria on July 10th.

“This is evidence of our partner forces’ effectiveness in the counter-Daesh fight,” said Maj. Gen. James Jarrard, Commanding General of special Operations Joint Task Force-Operation inherent Resolve.

“As Daesh movement from southwest Syria continues, our partners will interdict and disrupt these forces to ensure the defeat of Daesh in the region,” they added.

The U.S. Coalition and their partners are currently stationed in the Tanf region of southeast Homs.

The Tanf region is primarily a desert area that is located just north of the Iraq’s Al-Anbar Governorate.

Quds-Forces (IRGC) 3.) Saddam’s remaining high ranking officers, incl. general al-Douri Draw your own conclusions on which country has built serious influence on Iraq and Syria since 2011 with numbers of sectarian-fuelled proxy militias freely operating in… Read more »
