BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 P.M.) – The Kremlin condemned the U.S. Coalition’s attack on the Syrian forces near the Al-Tanf Border-Crossing, yesterday, which killed at least six military personnel.

“Any military actions leading to the aggravation of the situation in Syria definitely affect the political process. Especially if such actions are committed against the Syrian armed forces…” Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov stated on Friday.

“This is totally unacceptable; it is a violation of Syrian sovereignty. Of course, it does not help the political process,” Gatilove added.

The U.S. Coalition’s attack on the Syrian Armed Forces, yesterday, marked the first time during this six year conflict that their warplanes deliberately targeted government units.

There is a Russian saying that says so: “A dog that barks a lot does not bite.” Knowing that, the International Coalition of Terrorist Sponsors in Syria, I fear that this illegal attack will be the very beginning of many more to come until the total overthrow of the Syrian president and the complete and final humiliation of Russia throughout the Middle East. Although I doubt that it will the same case with the other allies of Syria as Iran and Hezbollah. Because not being cowards, they have the courage and zero fear to face whatever that directly threatens their… Read more »

You shouldn’t condemn them anymore, just bomb them back. Show them the force.

Oh come on. The Deir ez Zour attack was just as deliberate – a US inquiry concluded that the way the chain of command worked there was no way it was anything other than deliberate.
Russia should do more than complain.

Now, the SAA must go as far as they can an even take some losses to air attacks – they must take as much territory as possible, then the US will be forced to give way when large forces surround al tanf from both sides of the border.

“The U.S. Coalition’s attack on the Syrian Armed Forces, yesterday, marked the first time during this six year conflict that their warplanes deliberately targeted government units.” The attack in Deir ez Zour last September was not an accident so what you have written is incorrect.
Human garbage Trump is even worse than Obama.

All Russia’s efforts to defend Syria will be undone if they do not respond vigorously to the American bombing of Syrian troops at al-Tanf.
The al-Tanf border crossing needs to be secured with urgency and presented to the Americans as a fait accompli.
Otherwise, American-backed jihadis will take over all southeast Syria, presenting the Russians with a fait accompli.
