The Chinese military announced on Tuesday that a U.S. spy plane entered the no-fly zone of the Chinese Northern Military District, which they described as a “naked provocation.”

According to the ministry’s spokesman, which was reported by Sputnik, China has lodged a “stern representation” with the United States after a U.S. U-2 reconnaissance plane flew into a no-fly zone during Chinese military drills.

The U.S. has yet to respond to these allegations from China; however, tensions between the two super powers have recently increased, amid a trade war, sanctions, human rights violations and disagreements over territories in Asia.

In a rare move this month, the Chinese government moved to sanction several U.S. politicians, including right-wing senators Marco Rubio, Tom Cotton, and Ted Cruz.

Uncle Sam wanna play the fool to irritate China. Ahha! China plays like a master at the NFZ. Both China and the USA are carefully conducting their countermeasures. Wanna fight or do not wanna fight is already set. China will maintain its defense policy: No war better than has a war. This policy could have captivated the USA air force gains an opportunity to fool around at the China non-fly border.

It’s not “no-fly zone”, it’s ADIZ : Air defense identification zone. Had it been a NFZ, they’d had shot the U-2 down or sent interceptors to force it to land in China… If they can fly enough high, thus, a lock on with radar with radio contact may be enough… To have the pilot fly at lower altitude more sympathetic for an ejection as no way the gear onboard should be left to be confiscated (unless a provision is done to drop the spying payload, sorry, such details are not public, and I haven’t searched the U-2’s technology enough to… Read more »
