BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:20 A.M.) – The U.S. Air Force transported several armored vehicles to the Syrian-Iraqi border this past week amid reports of a new base being established in the Deir Ezzor Governorate.
According to reports, a U.S. Air Force C-17 military transport delivered M2A2 Bradley infantry vehicles to the Jabal Goule Airbase, which is located 30km northwest of Syria’s Al-Hasakah Governorate.
In regards to the new military base, the U.S. is planning to build their biggest installation in the eastern countryside of the Deir Ezzor Governorate.
The construction of this new military base was first reported by pro-militant pages and later local activists in eastern Deir Ezzor.
The news of the U.S.’ construction of a new military base comes at the same time American President Donald Trump boasts about occupying Syria’s oil fields.
