BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:10 A.M.) – The suspected Israeli attack last night resulted in the death of three Syrian Arab Army (SAA) soldiers, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.
According to the SANA report, at least three soldiers were killed and another seven were wounded after suspected Israeli missiles hit the military’s positions in southwestern Damascus.
A source from the Syrian military told Al-Masdar this morning that their air defense units managed to shoot down several of the projectiles that fired from the occupied Golan Heights.
However, he added that some of the projectiles did hit their targets, causing a number of explosions that could be heard throughout southwestern Damascus.
Prior to this attack, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that two projectiles fired from Syria landed in the occupied Golan Heights last night.
The Syrian military denied firing any projectiles into the occupied Golan Heights.
