BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:10 A.M.) – The suspected Israeli attack last night resulted in the death of three Syrian Arab Army (SAA) soldiers, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.

According to the SANA report, at least three soldiers were killed and another seven were wounded after suspected Israeli missiles hit the military’s positions in southwestern Damascus.

A source from the Syrian military told Al-Masdar this morning that their air defense units managed to shoot down several of the projectiles that fired from the occupied Golan Heights.

However, he added that some of the projectiles did hit their targets, causing a number of explosions that could be heard throughout southwestern Damascus.

Prior to this attack, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that two projectiles fired from Syria landed in the occupied Golan Heights last night.

The Syrian military denied firing any projectiles into the occupied Golan Heights.

*** “Assad should retaliate launching missile*** > The bombing came as a retaliation for a shelling into Israel. IDF has very strict ROEs, they don’t shoot unless they are shot at. If it’s not SAA who shot into Israel, it was Shia militias… No matter, it’s Syria’s territory, it’s Syria’s responsibility. *** “like palestine Hamas usual does!”*** > Yeah, you’ve seen the results when Hamas shoots rockets? The tariffs are always the same : they get 6x the damages they’ve done as retaliation… Don’t you think SAA has already enough problems to deal with in the north rather than being… Read more »

Assad must resign power because he is incompetent. If Assad was worthy to be president, he would be Golan Syria.
Syria must become part of Turkey.

Actuall, Assad should better consider retaking the Antioch province : it’ll extend Syrian EEZ which is fully part of the Levantine undersea gas basin.
Golan won’t bring money, just a big büttkick from Israelis. The gas basin will bring money 🙂
