The Syrian Arab Army’s 11th Tank Division carried out multiple raids on Liwaa Suqour Al-Sham (“Falcons of the Levant Brigade”) dens in the vital city of Morek, killing scores of militants and taking control of small farms located near the border of Idlib. According to a military source, 2 field commanders from the Islamic Front (“Jabhat Al-Islamiyya”) were killed during the fierce firefights earlier today: Wardan Hassan Reehan (AKA “Abu Hassan Al-Ansari”) from the Al-Ansar Battalion and Abu ‘Abdullah Al-Masri (Egyptian) from Liqaa Suqour Al-Sham.
In east Homs, contingents from the Syrian Arab Army’s 3rd Army Corps and Mouqawama Souri (Syrian Resistance) retook several areas from Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) fighters in the vicinity of Jabal Al-Sha’ar. 27 ISIS fighters were confirmed killed-in-action (KIA) during the SAA’s onslaught; which also included multiple airstrikes from the Syrian Air Force.
