BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:00 P.M.) – The Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Hikmet Hajiyev, shared a photo on Friday of a missile attack on the Tartar region of the country.
Hajiyev called the Smerch missile image the “photo of the day”, claiming that it will be decommissioned.
In the photo shared by Hajiyev, the Smerch missile is seen fully intact after it crashed through a table and penetrated the ground.
Photo of the Day. #Armenia fired Smerch missile. Alasgarli village of Tartar region. The missile will be decommissioned by ANAMA soon. Most likely and luckily it did not explode. pic.twitter.com/Ydb4jJI1Ct

However, the photo raised a lot of eyebrows and accusations of photoshop after users were baffled by the fact that the missile penetrated the table, but did not destroy it.
As shown in the photo, the table’s hole is relatively the same circumference as the Smerch missile, which many social media users claimed may indicate photoshop.

Azerbaijan has accused Armenia of firing Smerch missiles at their cities, which has prompted a denial by Yerevan and counter-accusations.
