BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:20 P.M.) – For the second time this month, the United Nations held a vote on the Golan Heights region, which is currently occupied by Israel.

The General Assembly held a vote on Friday reiterating the UN’s demand that Israel withdraw from the Golan Heights.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the majority of the UN General Assembly agreed that Israel should withdraw from the Golan Heights and adhere to borders drawn up in Resolution 242.

The Assembly denounced Israel’s non-compliance with Security Council Resolution 497, asserting that Israel’s decision to impose its laws, jurisdiction, and administration over the Syrian Golan is null and void.

In a statement after the resolution was adopted, acting charge d’affaires of Syria’s permanent delegation at the UN, Munzer Munzer, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the states that voted in favor of the resolution and the other resolutions listed under the “Palestinian Cause” and “Situation in the Middle East” articles.

The General Assembly should have a look into the UN Charter.

Does it say “hand over the Middle East to white people?”

@BSD, You have not read the UN Charter and are week in the head.

The UN Charter does not say anything about the white people nor the Middle East.

OT. The Druze who are the original inhabitants of the Golan are genetically closer related to the Ashkenazim than to the Arabs around them. How about that?

Did the Ashkenazim mass rape their community some time ago? That might explain it (if it were true). Actually, no they’re not. They’re closely related to the Shia and look nothing like the Ashkenazi, you donkeys_ass. Trying to change history never works, Israeli.

Moses’ wife was a Druze.
Actually, more than the majority of Syrians are ethnic Jews who were forcefully converted to Islam and forced into Arabisation after the 636AD invasion…

@Daeshbags-Sux, how can You be so rude to tell him the truth. LOL.

p.s. They all intermingled with Hittites and God knows what.
My old archaeology teacher used to say when people met they sometimes warred and sometimes traded peacefully but they always mixed. And modern genetics show how right he was.

Open Society Foundations (OSF), formerly the Open Society Institute, is an international grantmaking network founded by business magnate George Soros.[2] Open Society Foundations financially support civil society groups around the world, with a stated aim of advancing justice, education, public health and independent media.[3][4] The group’s name is inspired by Karl Popper’s 1945 book The Open Society and Its Enemies.[5]

If Russia really wants to make peace with the west they should give back the the crimean region which they stole and annexed from the Ukraine and stop their activities in eastern Ukraine they should give back the three ukrainean ships they attacked in international waters, and return the naval personnal. Give back Georgia it’s two regions which it stole and annexed.

I totally agree with you. Secondly, Turkey should return Afrin and Idlib to Syria. UN can be very foolish sometimes, mostly when it is about Israel and about human rights in muslim lands.

Hahaha awesome joke dude. Live the sarcasm there. Calm down people he was only practising for his stand up comedy routine. I would love ro hear some more saracastic humour from you. Got anymore gems? Maybe like how Trump is really a good guy in real life. Or that Bibi really cares about the Palestinian people and cries every night when he is informed that innocent Palestinian civilians including women and children were killed by over zealous IDF snipers. Or that Saudi Arabia really is a world leader in upholding human rights.????

You are either miserably misinformed or ignoring the bare truth. People of Crimea chose to reunite with Russia in a popular referendum after the west backed a coup by neonazis against the elected government

@Sammy Thiongo, Only the 2/3 who are Russian wanted annexation by Russia. There should have been a referendum in such a way that the regions settled by people like the Crimean Tartars who wanted to stay can have their will also. Split it accordingly. But both sides did not want democracy for the Crimean people but to own the whole Crimean peninsula for strategic and economic reasons. .

Daler, it’s a democracy. The majority chose to and it should not be ignored

Yes but it should be done in a responsible way.

You have to split up the land if this is possible. Else You could also say. The majority of the Ukrainians did not want it split. So Crimea must stay.

You have to make concessions to minority will in such matters if possible.

p.s. It was the people in Moscow and Kiew that did not want it that way.

@Juventino, 2/3 of the Crimean population are Russians. Why should all the Crimean be given back?

The 3 ships were not in internationals waters. (2003) Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Ukraine on cooperation in the use of the sea of Azov and the strait of Kerch. 1) The sea of Azov and the strait of Kerch are historically internal waters of the Russian Federation and the Ukraine. 4) Mercantile vessels and other state non-commercial vessels flying the flags of the Russian Federation and the Ukraine have free navigation in the sea of Azov and the strait of Kerch.
