According to a United Nations report, the al-Qaeda linked terrorist group still poses a significant threat to Somalia.

“Contrary to prevailing narratives of successful counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism efforts, the monitoring group assesses that the security situation has not improved in Somalia,” the report stated.

The report continued by saying that al-Shabaab “represents the most immediate threat to peace and security in Somalia and continues to be a destabilizing force in the broader East and Horn of Africa region.”

It came to this conclusion because of endless deadly attacks it has committed despite counter-terrorism operations by African Union forces.

“Peace and security” is a quote from the Bible from 1.Thessalonians and in context, you know that there’ll be neither peace, nor security but in fact, huge destructions and deaths… When they say it at the UN, it’s a very bad sign, even f they don’t know what they’re quoting : any time it was said, SHTF happens.
