BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:55 P.M.) – The United Nations (U.N.) – has confirmed the reports of Turkish troops preventing refugees from returning to their homes in Afrin.

“As a result of hostilities and military operations in Syria’s Afrin… some 126,000 men, women and children remain displaced,” UN Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq said this week, as quoted by Rudaw.

“In addition, an estimated 150,000 people remain in Afrin District, where access to people in need continues to be extremely limited,” the report continued.

“Several parties to the conflict continue to hinder displaced people’s movement, preventing them from seeking safety in their areas of choice or from returning to their areas of origin,” he added.

I wonder why the UN is criticising the Turks if they are so Zionist?

Turkey planed an ethnic change in the conquered area. This was obvious from the start and from Turkish propaganda that claimed the Kurds were historically new comers in the area. The UN did not do anything against the conquest so why do the complain that Turkey proceeds as planed?
