BEIRUT, LÍBANO (2:50 AM) – Fuerzas estadounidenses y británicas entraron en el sur de Siria el domingo por la tarde al atravesar el paso fronterizo de Al-Tanf en la gobernación de Homs, informó esta noche SMART News Agency.

De acuerdo al informe publicado por SMART News Agency, cerca de 150 militares estadounidenses y británicos entraron en Siria, junto con el grupo “Jaysh Mughawyr Al-Thurah” del Ejército Libre Sirio, los que fueron filmados viajando hacia el área de Hamimah.

El área de Hamimah se encuentra a 90 km al este de Palmira, cerca de la campiña de Deir Ezzor; su proximidad a la ciudad clave Al-Bukamal la convierte en un importante objetivo militar para las tropas estadounidenses y británicas.

Con su empuje reciente hacia el área de Hamimah, las fuerzas estadounidenses y británicas podrían finalmente bloquear al Ejército Árabe Sirio (EAS) en la gobernación de Deir Ezzor, lo que podría provocar posibles choques entre los bandos enfrentados.
