Damask, Sirija (23:30) – Posle šest godina nakon što je počela sirijska “pobuna”, američki režim je konačno odlučio da na neodređeno vreme odustane od svoje dugogodišnje podrške za navodno umerene pobunjeničke grupe u ratom razorenoj zemlji.

Prema američkim zvaničnicima, Donald Trump je odlučio da okonča tajni program CIA sa kojim naoružavaju i obučavaju pobunjenike. Ovaj tajni program naoružavanja je stupio na snagu pod Obaminim režimom u 2013 godini sa ciljem da sruše legitimnog Predsednika Bashar al-Assada.

Posle razgovora sa Rusijom, Bela kuća će sada ugasiti tajni program, taj potez će verovatno imati ozbiljne posledice za frakciju FSA oko graničnog prelaza Al-Tanf koju su do sad podržavale SAD.

Iako je CIA odbila da komentariše, američki zvaničnici rekli su za Washington Post da je Trump pre skoro mesec dana uoči sastanka 7. jula sa ruskim predsednikom Vladimirom Putinom odlučio da odbaci taj tajni program. “Ovo je istorijska odluka … Putin je pobedio u Siriji”, rekao je aktuelni zvaničnik, koji je govorio pod uslovom anonimnosti.

“Verovatno je to prihvatanje realnosti”, rekao je Ilan Goldenberg bivši Obamin funkcioner u administraciji i direktor programa bezbednosti Bliskog istoka u centru za novu američku bezbednost.

Kada ova iznenadna promena politike bude u potpunosti implementirana, Al Masdar očekuje da će američka vojska da evakuiše svoje trupe iz vojne baze Al Tanf i prebaci ih na kurdske teritorije koju drže u Hasaki, ostavljajući pobunjenike na jugu Sirije same protiv SAA.

Plan ne obuhvata večinom kurdske sirijske demokratske snage (SDF) kojima je u poslednjih nekoliko meseci porasala količina teškog naoružanja i oklopnih vozila.
