The United Arab Emirates has charges 3 Lebanese citizens in connection to an alleged Hezbollah cell that was formed inside the country.
According to the Abu Dhabi based news outlet “Emarat Al-Youm”, the three 3 Lebanese men were charged with “forming and managing a group linked to Hezbollah without obtaining a permit.”
One of the men is believed to be a Lebanese dual national from Canada.
The court is adjourned until February 15th when the trial is set to officially begin.
In addition to the suspected Hezbollah members, the UAE has charged 23 men of various nationalities for their alleged ties to Al-Qaeda.
