BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:30 A.M.) – An Emirati fighter jet crashed in southern Yemen, Tuesday, after experiencing technical difficulties during its brief flight.
According to United Arab Emirates’ (U.A.E.) – Ministry of Defense, the F-16 fighter jet was conducting an operation when the pilots lost control of the aircraft due to technical malfunctions.
Two pilots were reportedly killed during the crash landing, the Ministry of Defense added.
Later in the day, the Ministry of Defense announced that the pilots were identified as ‘Ali Al-Masmari and Badr Al-Marashadeh.
