BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:50 A.M.) – The UAE-backed forces claimed they killed at least 30 Houthi fighters during their large-scale assault in the central Yemen province of Al-Bayda.
According to the Yemeni Ministry of Defense, their national army killed 30 members of the Houthi forces, while also seizing the Fadha area in the Al-Malajim District.
The national army restarted their military operations in the Al-Bayda Governorate after suffering heavy losses during their first attacks on the Houthi forces near the provincial capital.
Despite their setbacks earlier this week, the national army is once again trying to cut the Houthi supply line to the provincial capital of Al-Bayda.
If the Yemeni national army is successful in cutting this supply line, they could ultimately leave the Houthi forces at a disadvantage in the southern part of the country.
