BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 P.M.) – At least three gunmen stormed the governorate building in Erbil on Monday, according to reports, injuring at least two police officers in gunfight, in what is an ongoing situation.

The identity and the group allegiance of the gunmen is not yet confirmed, as no group has taken the responsibility for the attack.

The governorate building is the seat of the Kurdistan Regional Government in northern Iraq, according to reports.

According to local media reports, all three gunmen have now been killed.
