The Turkish Air Force has reportedly targeted several positions belonging to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in northern Iraq this afternoon, killing and wounding a number of combatants at the village of Al-Amadiyah.
According to a report from the Iraqi Defense Ministry, the Turkish Air Force carried out these airstrikes against the PKK without Iraqi approval, marking another border violation committed by the Erdogan regime.
Recently, the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan began a nationwide campaign that seeks to target PKK supporters; this has prompted him to issue several curfews in southeastern Turkey for “security purposes.”
