BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:15 P.M.) – Over the last 24 hours, the Turkish Air Force has killed more than 72 civilians inside the densely populated city of Al-Bab in eastern Aleppo, the pro-opposition “Syrian Observatory of Human Rights” (SOHR) reported this morning.
“The number of dead rose to 72 civlians including 21 children and 13 women. The number included 9 families at least, in which considered the largest massacre by Turkish warplanes since its intervention in Syria,” Rami ‘Abdel-Rahman of SOHR claimed.
“The massacre comes at the same time that Ardoghan meets the child Bana Al-Abed who left the besieged Aleppo,” ‘Abdel-Rahman added.
Turkey responded to the Islamic State’s counter-offensive west of Al-Bab yesterday by launching several indiscriminate airstrikes over civilian neighborhoods in this eastern Aleppo city.
No statement has been released by the Turkish regime to corroborate this report.
