Khashoggi

BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 A.M.) – A Turkish pro-regime newspaper alleged on Wednesday it had identified 15 members of a Saudi intelligence team that was responsible with the disappearance of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul.

The Sabah newspaper published the names and dates of birth for all 15 members of this alleged intelligence team.

Citing Turkish officials, the Reuters News Agency said  that this intelligence team arrived at Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport on October 2nd and later entered the Saudi Consulate on the same day.

This alleged Saudi intelligence team arrived at the consulate on the same day that Khashoggi went there for his meeting.

Reuters added that all 15 members of the intelligence team would leave Turkey at four different times on that same day.

Please treat this discussion with the same respect you would a public park. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
