BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:30 P.M.) – The Turkish military launched an attack on the Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG) in the northern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate on Sunday.

According to a report from northern Aleppo, the Turkish Army heavily shelled the YPG’s forces in the northern Aleppo towns of Al-Malkiyah and Shewarga.

The reason for the Turkish Army attack is unknown; however, it is likely attributed to the recent string of ambushes that have been carried out by the Afrin Liberation Forces in northwestern Aleppo.

The Turkish Army has now attacked both the YPG and Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in northern Syria today. The attack against the Syrian Arab Army came in retaliation for the latter’s shelling of a Turkish observation post in the northern Hama town of Morek.

That would be advisable for both SAA and YPG. Do not (yet) see it happening though.

“Fighting for terror” ??? You invade a foreign country, commit mass murder and rape, and then complain about the victims? The degree to which you are brainwashed is absurd. I sincerely look forward to your country being bombed.

They fight for terror. Correct. SDF fights against terror, Turks fight for terror. By accident antikurds meant bad but wrote correct.
