BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:05 P.M.) – Turkish F-16 jets carried out a number of airstrikes over northern Syria on Wednesday, targeting the Kurdish-led “Syrian Democratic Forces” in the Aleppo Governorate.

According to local activists, the Turkish Air Force specifically targeted the SDF-controlled town of Tal Rifa’at and the nearby Mennagh Airbase in northern Aleppo.

No casualties were reported by the Kurdish activists as a result of these airstrikes; however, the Turkish regime has made it clear that they will not tolerate their presence near their border.

In a recent press conference before his departure for Pakistan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told journalists that his forces will deploy to the strategic city of Menbeij in northeastern Aleppo; this city is controlled by the SDF.

Air raids on SDF are breaches of Syrian sovereignty. Turkey does not own North East Aleppo.

All air raids in Syria except RuAF, Iraqis and SyAF are violating of international law and breaches of Syrian sovereignity. But unfortunatly Syria can’t stop them at the moment.

I think Assad and the Russians should protect the Kurds of Syria from the Turks. Who did invite the Turks anyway to kill Assad friendly Kurds. They are criminals.

SDF debe abandonar la ofensiva en Al-Raqqa y enviar mas hombres para defender la patria Siria de los mercenarios invasores…
Esta sería una forma de presionar a EE.UU. para que ordene a Erdogan hacer un alto.
