BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:55 P.M.) – The Turkish Armed Forces are shelling a number of towns in the Jabal Ahlam area of Afrin, Lebanon-based Al-Mayadeen TV is reporting this afternoon.

What makes this report so important is the fact that the Jabal Ahlam area is located along Syrian military’s primary route to Afrin city.

While the Syrian military has yet to enter Afrin, they may be temporarily delayed, as footage from Al-Mayadeen shows the Turkish Armed Forces heavily shelling Jabal Ahlam.

The Syrian military and Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG) have not responded to this latest attack by the Turkish Armed Forces in southern Afrin.

The Syrian military have not responded to this latest attack by the Turkish Armed Forces in southern Afrin because no agreement to disarm has been reached with the Kurds by Syria and they are just simply not in Afrin.

Al-Mayadeen is terrorist propaganda. I wouldn’t trust anything they say I think this was the same news group that said Iran army was in Yemen or something.
