BEIRUT, LEBANONN (8:00 A.M.) – The Turkish-backed rebels from the National Liberation Front (NLF) released a new video this week that shows another graduation ceremony taking place in northwest Syria.
As shown in the short video below, the new graduates completed basic training and showcased their new equipment in an undisclosed area in northwest Syria:
The National Liberation Front is a new Turkish-backed rebel coalition that consists of several opposition factions, including the Free Syrian Army (FSA), Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, and Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki.
The new rebel coalition claims their main opponents are the Syrian government forces, Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG), and Islamic State (ISIS).
With the new buffer zone around the Idlib Governorate, it appears that the National Liberation Front will be concentrated in northern Syria, where they will attempt to expel the YPG and their allies from several areas.
