The Turkish Army reportedly fired several mortar shells towards the YPG’s (People’s Protection Units) positions on Monday, hitting the latter’s camp near the town of Jarabulus in northern Aleppo.
No YPG soldiers were killed or injured by these mortar shells; however, the Turkish Army attack completely disregarded the large presence of Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) fighters operating inside of Jarabulus.
Despite several claims made by the Erdogan regime, the Turkish Army continues to ignore ISIS’ presence along the border with Syria.
