BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:00 P.M.) – The Turkish army has established a new observation post at a town in the northwestern countryside of the Al-Hasakah Governorate, a report said on Monday evening.

According to the reports, the Turkish Army established an observation post at the town of Salha, which is located at the western outskirts of Ras Al-‘Ayn.

The establishment of this observation post in Al-Hasakah marks the second time since Operation Peace Spring was launched on October 9th that the Turkish Army has established one of these posts.

The observation post was established near the border town of Tal Abyad in the northern countryside of the Al-Raqqa Governorate.

Both Tal Abyad and Ras Al-‘Ayn were captured by the Turkish Army and their militant allies in the last ten days.

Please treat this discussion with the same respect you would a public park. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.

Veremos si Rusia hace respetar la soberanía Siria el 22 de octubre o simplemente Erdogan de nuevo se sale con la suya.
