BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:45 P.M.) – The Turkish Army carried out several attacks in northeastern Syria and northwestern Iraq on Tuesday, killing and wounding several people in the process.
According to the Turkish regime, their military targeted the “PKK’s” (outlawed Kurdish group in Turkey) positions in these areas of Iraq and Syria.
The Turkish Army carried out their first attacks in the Sinjar Mountains of northwestern Iraq, killing six people this morning.
Following the attacks on the PKK in northwestern Iraq, the Turkish Army targeted the YPG-held territory in northern Syria, killing at least 18 people, the AFP News Agency claimed.
Recently, the Turkish Army has begun building up their forces along the Syrian border, as they prepare for what looks like an invasion of the PYD-governed territory in Al-Hasakah, Aleppo, and Al-Raqqa.
