BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:00 P.M.) – The Turkish Army has attacked the positions of the Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG) in northern Aleppo this evening.

According to the reports from the Aleppo Governorate, the Turkish Army heavily shelled the YPG’s positions in the town of Al-Malkiyah, which is west of the former’s base in Azaz.

This latest attack by the Turkish Army comes just hours after some reports surfaced that five of their soldiers were killed by the YPG.

Typically, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announces their losses in Syria; however, they have not made any statements.
