The Turkish Army carried out a new attack against the Kurdish forces in the northern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate on Monday.
According to a report from Aleppo, the Turkish Army heavily shelled the Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG) at the small-townof Khaljibrin this afternoon.
This attack by the Turkish Army on the YPG forces came shortly after their Air Force conducted reconnaissance flights over the Aleppo Governorate.
So far, no casualties have been reported; however, the Kurdish forces are now retaliating with their own barrage of artillery shells in northern Aleppo.
The situation in northern Aleppo has remained tense for quite a while now, as the Turkish government has refused to allow the YPG to remain active near their border.
