BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:35 P.M.) – Turkish Army officers took to several social media platforms on Wednesday and Thursday to accuse the Syrian military of carrying out airstrikes against their soldiers in the Al-Bab Plateau of east Aleppo.

Despite these accusations by Turkish Army officers, a Syrian military source told Al-Masdar News that these claims are completely false, adding that their air force has not attacked any Islamic State positions at Al-Bab’s northern and eastern flanks.

The Syrian Arab Army and Turkish Armed Forces both launched offensives in east Aleppo in January, targeting the Islamic State’s final positions around the Al-Bab Plateau.

While the Syrian Arab Army has made significant gains in the Al-Bab Plateau, the Turkish Armed Forces have been stagnate, launching several attacks with little-to-no success at all.

Go and whine in Ankara. p.s. Obviously Turkish professionals do not distinguish between Russian and Syrian paint schemes and slander the SyAF when they get some collateral bombs by Russian planes supporting their feeble efforts to dislodge IS. Maybe time to retreat home to Erdogan Pasha?
