BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:20 A.M.) – The Turkish Ministry of Defense released footage on Thursday of their air force targeting the positions of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in northern Iraq.
Based on the report released with the video, the Turkish Air Force targeted and destroyed an ammunition depot belonging to the PKK.
The Turkish Air Force attack was carried out in the Qandil Mountains, which is a stronghold for the PKK forces in the northern region of Iraq.
In addition to destroying the ammo dump, the Turkish Ministry of Defense reported that at least a half dozen PKK fighters were killed.
