Turkey expressed its desire to open a new dialogue with players in the Syrian war to resolve the ongoing crisis.

Speaking on Monday, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said on Monday that “it is vital that, without losing more time, a new page is opened in Syria.”

Such a revised outlook has to be “based on a model involving particularly Turkey, Iran… Russia, the United States and even some [Persian] Gulf states and Saudi Arabia.”

Since the coup attempt in Turkey, the country has restored relations with Russia and enhanced its ties with Iran whilst increasingly coming at odds with the United States.

Turkey is only looking to make peace because the Syrian Kurds are about to take the whole border and it’s gonna be game on in Turkey for Kurdistan.

Syria, Iraq and Iran don’t want a Kurdistan as well, and Russia don’t want a USA military base in Kurdistan. Turkey knows this very well.

Kurds are attacking Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and now Syria.

The only outcome is these nations coming together to protect their collective sovereignty. Kurds have made themselves into Daesh v2.0.

I agree that the fighting of the Kurds does make a coalition between Turkey, Syria, Iran and Iraq as the outcome. But for all there flaws there not like Daesh. you have to agree that there has to be some kind of dialogue between the Kurds and the 4 Nations they are part of. They have a population around 20 to 30 million people so you cant get rit of them so you better deal with them peacefully.

Especially when turks are bombing kurdish cities in Turkey like Gur for months now! Anyway, Erdogan is a real problem for Syria, Turkey, Cyprus, E.U., Gaza (supports Hamas!), Russia, the US and even the world… This guy dreams himself the sultan of a new Ottoman empire, he has gone bonkers and AKP shall be a forbiden party as mixing religion and politics has ALWAYS proved to be a total tragedy. Something like the 1920 Sèvres treaty that wasn’t put in place due to the fact that Ataturk managed to avoid it should be put on the table again, this was… Read more »

Too late guys. The yankees are about to partition Turkey to accommodate the Kurds in their rightful homeland. That also include returning land to Armenia that was annexed in 1915. Erdogan has quietly agreed to this in his many discussions with the Saudis and Israelis. Finally there will be years of peace perhaps? What could possibly be wrong with this return to ancient national boundaries.
