Turkey is attempting to turn Hama and Idlib into a neverending war zone as the latest militant offensives have tried to change the frontlines in these governorates, Syrian military expert Haytham Hassoun told the Arabiclanguage version of Sputnik News on Friday.

During the past weeks, armed groups have been carrying out successive attacks in order to change the lines of contact and control over its geography.”

But after these groups were able to achieve several gains, the Syrian Arab Army contained these attacks and turned them into a battle of attrition against these terrorist groups. The Syrian Army managed to inflict heavy losses among these terrorists,” he told Radio Sputnik .

Hassoun said thatoverthe past few hours, the Syrian Air Force has begun targeting  the headquarters of the leadership and the launching sites of terrorist groups supported by the Turkish occupation forces.”

The balance of power is now in the interest of the Syrian Arab Army, but it is about the political goal and what Turkey wants by turning this region into a continuous arena of operations. They seek to control new sites through repeated attacks, especially ones that occurred in the past days in the eastern Latakia countryside.”

Previously, the Fars News Agency of Iran made a similar claim about Turkey’s intentions and with their upcoming operations east of the Euphrates, it appears that this alleged plan might come to fruition.

At the same time, Turkey lost 27% of its economy into 3 years. Since Erdogan is testing the EU by drilling in Cyprus EEZ, Turkey will get EU sanctions. He threatens to seize whole Cyprus and deployed 42 tanks. If he dares to, Turkey will have to fight the whole EU. Add to this that now he has received S-400, goodbye F-35 and welcome US sanctions… Add to this that Greece, Cyprus, Egypt and Israel have signed a military alliance… France, Germany, USA, UK are backing YPG/SDF and not only morally. YPJ is immensely popular for EU women who see… Read more »

Turkey is a tool of Zionist and US warmongers and the main terrorist sponsor in Syria now. Russian efforts to appease Turkey are not helping and even emboldening the megalomaniac Ottoman Empire resurrectionalist Erdogan even further. The only real option is for Russia, Iran, Syria and its Axis of Resistance allies to impose a heavy cost on the Turkish occupiers. Erdogan’s dream is to annex the best and most productive agricultural lands of Syria as Idlib and Hama have been the granary since ancient times.

For sure, it’s the very interest for the USA, EU and Israel to have an Ottomaniac Empire v2.0 led by a religious fanatic like Erdogan who openly dreams to build an unified army of 5.6M soldiers with the 57% Muslim-majority countries in order to crush Israel and conquer the whole world. It’s also the very interest of Zionists that Erdogan co-funds Hamas together with Khamenei and Tamim… It’s really logical ???? It goes further than what Machiavelli could ever have imagined! I’m very twisted when it comes to strategy but you’ve stunned me by explaining such a scheme… Now, can… Read more »

Whole world knows Turki is state sponsor of terror by sending Jihadi Shitlamists into Syria from 2013 and yet the US, UK & EU and all other countries in UN don’t have the guts or inclination to black list Turki as Terror Sponsor country and impose economical sanctions. Russia too was more keen to get Turki to break away from NATO and purchase their S 400 and what surprises me is on whom are they going to use this S 400? Turki doesnt have any major enemies around except you want to call neighboring Syria as an enemy which is… Read more »
