BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:40 P.M.) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan welcomed his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas in Ankara, Monday.

Abbas arrived to the Presidential Palace in the Turkish capital and was greeted by Erdogan, who preceded to lead the Palestinian leader inside the building for bilateral talks.

The pair are expected to discuss the situation regarding East Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque, among other topics.
