BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:40 P.M.) – The Turkish Army and their rebel allies have announced the conclusion of Operation Euphrates Shield after more than six months of sporadically attacking the Islamic State (ISIL), Kurdish forces, and Syrian Arab Army (SAA).

Since launching this operation, the Turkish-led forces have captured the northern Aleppo cities of Jarabulus and Al-Bab from the Islamic State terrorist group.

However, during Operation Euphrates Shield, the Turkish Armed Forces often targeted the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) around the Afrin Canton of northern Aleppo, causing many observers of the war to question the Erdogan regime’s intentions.

With the conclusion of this military operation, the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and their Islamist allies that were participating in this battle will likely go to the front-lines in northern Hama and western Aleppo in order to aid their allies fighting the Syrian Arab Army.

When will Turkey give the area back to Syrian SAA?

They must hand it over if the mission to expel IS is finished!

Two main objectives of ES operation has been successful.

First is to prevent Kurdish cantons to tie.
Second is to establish a buffer zone. You may know lots of Syrians coming there instead of Turkey.

Third is to sweep Kurdish militia to Eupratheas river. It hasn’t been successful yet. Possibly never will..

1. Kurdish cantons are in Syria and none of Turkish business,
2. Create the buffer zone in Turkey that area belongs to You.
3. The SDF and SAA will drown Sultan Murad brigade and all of Erdogan’s Idlib terrorists in the Euphrates river or in their own blood.
4. Atatürk prevented Kurdistan – Erdogan created Rojava.

Trash talk. As a mechanized units (tank) personnel, ‘we’ are dedicated to fight at all costs and all of our country.

If anyone attacks Turkey, it doesn’t matter where they are, it is ‘our’ bussiness. We are helping to secure Syria. Assad should even thank us.

=> Trash talk. => So the Turk tankers will defend the terrorists? The Turks will fight at all costs. Watch out! SAA and SDF have gone through years of war not training.

Turkey does not start at al-Bab! NATO will not defend You there – so don’t come and cry for real soldiers to help.

Like Turkey did in the past.

Kardeş,
Turks have counterterrorism experience for more than 30 years. Don’t worry about that.

Secondly NATO doesn’t work that way. Even though you don’t like, NATO soldiers are all over Turkey training, like Turkish soldiers do in other countries. We have cooperation..

Besides even combine all SAA and SDF and PKK and FETO, it doesn’t make quarter of Turkish Army. They are not even threat..

Lastly, why you chance your attitude that worse? I don’t like it. Calm down please.

Kardeşim, this is not counter terrorism & PKK. Syrians, SAA and SDF are the owners of the land. And they are regular forces. Erdogan has started the war to create Greater Turkey. He has the old Ottoman claim. Turkey is the leader of the Ummah… He has just begun the quest for the neo-Ottoman Sultanate. In the treaty of Lausane 1923 Atatürk gave up areas in exchange of the compact borders of Anatolia/Asia Minor and immediate peace. Erdogan’s Syrian adventure is just another alarming burst of Turkish irredentism. He claims Greek Islands parts of Cyprus… NATO is a defensive not… Read more »

Who will be stupid enough to believe a liar and a professional cheater like Erdogan?
It would be better for Syria and Rusian to reinforce their positions and to prepare for more cowardly attacks and much more illegal invasion by Turkey and its puppets, after such announcement.

1.) None of Erdogan’s business.
2.) Erdogan must do buffer zone in Turkey not Syria.
3.) Will cause a major war in all green areas plus Syria.
