BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:00 P.M.) – The Turkish regime claimed on Tuesday that their forces had killed more than 260 fighters from the Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG) and Islamic State (ISIS).
However, despite the Turkish regime’s claim, there are no Islamic State fighters currently operating inside the Afrin Canton.
The Russian Armed Forces were deployed inside the Afrin Canton for over a year and never reported any Islamic State presence in this region.
The Turkish regime did report the death of two soldiers, but made no mention of the losses sustained by the Euphrates Shield forces.
