BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:00 P.M.) – The Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu stated on Wednesday that the Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad should step down from his position in order to open the way for a political settlement.

“The Assad regime should absolutely leave power in Syria. It is not the first time the Assad regime used chemical weapons,” the Turkish FM stated, as quoted by Hurriyet Daily News.

“Leaving the chemical weapons aside, he has killed nearly one million people using other weapons through aerial bombing, barrel bombs and conventional weapons,” Çavuşoğlu said at an event on Islamophobia organized in the Turkish capital Ankara.

“Thus, this individual should leave power immediately and we should move on to a political process,” he would add.

Turkey is number one to be blamed for the situation in Syria. All terrorists passed through it to Syria. Their weapons and money came through the turkish terrorist state. Oil smuggling went through Turkey and Erdogan’s family members benefited from the illegal trade of oil stolen from Syria and Iraq. Turkey still support various terrorist groups in Syria. Turkish people should be revolting against this evil they installed in power.

Yes, and while the evil terrorists and rebels came in through Turkey, convoys of trucks loaded with the assets and machinery of stripped Syrian factories, as well as other loot, including ancient relics and artwork, were going in the opposite direction. So Turkey drained off Syria’s assets while it injected head-cutting terrorists. What and evil awful neighbor.

They did revolt, now more than 10,000 of them are in jail. If that happened in North korea the western media would still be howling at Kim, but instead the charming Erdogan has the media eating out of his hand, or is it kissing his b**t I should say. He can kill his own Turks, Syrians, Kurds and Russians, and all the media can say is “bad Russia, bad Assad Punish Destroy”, I wonder why.

Just a reminder: how many Armenians were murdered in 1915? Is it also Bashar al-Assad’s fault and crime?

I dont agree on Turkeys officials condemnation on President Assad. He was elected president of Syria. If only leaders of many countries know how to respect sovereignty differences and avoid interference in other countries for sure we will have peace in this world. I dont blame him by protecting his countries from invaders, terorrist organizations. Let the invaders getout from Syrian. It seems to me invaders and terorrists are partners. The war in Syria cause the WEST AGENDA.. ISIL.ALKHAEDA, AL NUSRA ect. were created by the invaders….for WHAT??? Is any one tell me???

And actually, it started more on a Qatar/KSA/Turkey agenda, and Saudis+Qataris did pay to play by funding the Clinton Fundation.
It’s all about having a pipeline from Qatar to the EU while at the same time, the situation in Ukraine was cooked to cut Russian gas supply to the EU, and well, Polish govt was proposed to be the EU hub for US LNG and having F-16 for near free would they cut Russian gas transit…

Addiny to my previous comment: While Turkey is to be blamed for its role in Syria we should not forget the other terrorist states which are involved starting with the US (the biggest terrorist state) and its baby terrorist state of Israel and their stupid Arab allies from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE and not to forget the European terrorist states of UK and France in particular. These are the current evils of the world who violate international laws, create wars, attack other countries while they speak of peace, democracy and human rights. Look what they are doing in Yemen.… Read more »

You speak of the two old imperialist states from Europe plus the US and their Arab allies. Turkey is also on of those old Empires and no better. But this does not make the ideas of democracy and such that also come from Europe bad – or does it? With the Palestinian problem You seem to forget that the Muslim countries evicted their Jewish populations in the same period when Israel threw out many Muslim Arabs. These Arab Jews make up half of Israeli population by now. That was like the population exchange between Greece and Turkey after their war.… Read more »

Actually, it wasnn’t at all Israelis who expelled Arabs in 1948 but the Arab League tat ordered them to leave, saying also that all Arab who would stay would be considered traitors and exterminated with the Jews! _”Arab armies forced Palestinians to leave their homes [in 1948]”_ – Mahmoud Abbas, March 1976 The most potent factor [triggering the Arab flight] were the announcement by High Arab Executive, urging the Arabs to evacuate and that Arabs accepting Jewish protection would be regarded as renegates.” – The London Economic, Oct.7 1948 “In 1948, the Arab leadership advised Arabs in Palestine to leave… Read more »

Erdogan and the other creatures leading the Friends of Syria are responsible of the Syrian war with its millions of dead and refugees. They broke international law: A/RES/2625(XXV) = Declaration on Principles of International Law concerning Friendly Relations and Co-operation among States in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations. And they instigated a war of aggression. They should be treated according to the principles of the Tokyo and Nürnberg trials. So convict and hang them.

Tell us Erdo, how do the Kurds in Iraq continue to sell oil to Israel? Through thin air and it magically appears elsewhere? You are one of the first to rape Syria and you continue to till now. Now that you are scared to death that you and your s**t country might be involved in a western attack on Syria, you fold like a cardboard box and jump back on the Zionist train. You are lower than a snakes belly and a piece of scum not even worthy enough to stick to the bottom of Assad’s shoe. Your day will… Read more »

A leopard doesn’t change its spots and Russia should have been more careful and slower to reconcile with Turkey.
What is driving the Russia-Turkey cooperation is the desire for the southern pipeline, but this is due to the U.S. forcing Bulgaria to break its deal with Russia on SouthStream. So you can blame the U.S. for this too – and it was John McCain and another Senator who were sent to threaten Bulgaria. Then they went to the EU headquarters to get its help and the EU started threatening Bulgaria financially so it obeyed.

You mix up EU and US. Orthodox Jews and e.g. Christian Hutterites also have big families. All bigots have that. But does that mean they will prevail in the end? Europeans had just as big families as Arabs before the industrialisation. You will not continue to have that either.

Muslims are good people. Unfortunately, some “Muslem” rulers like Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE are evils who work for the western governments and Israel. Listen to this idiot prince of Saudi Arabia who publicly confessed that they spread Wahabism at the request of the US and Western government to combat Communism. So, You should blame your governments along with their agents in SA, UAE and Qatar.
