BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:00 P.M.) – Turkey is allegedly seeking to annex the Idlib Governorate and the northern region of Aleppo, Iran’s Fars News Agency reported, citing the Arab-language publication Al-Arabi Jadid.

According to the Fars News report, Turkey is taking preliminary steps to install their political rhetoric and military occupation of these areas.

They continued that the main obstacle for Turkey is the presence of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) terrorists, noting that the Turkish officials have told them that this jihadist group will be dissolved by the year-end, through either war or peace to leave the Russians with no excuse to continue their military operations in the region.

Fars News added that the interim government affiliated to the dissidents will gain control of the bordering corridors between Syria and Turkey and the residents of these regions will be provided with main services with the revenues of these passageways.

The likelihood of this happening, however, is very slim, given the fact that both Russia and Turkey are pushing for a constitutional committee and the reopening of the highways between the government and opposition areas.

Sultan Erdogan is moving more troops to Idlib to try to stop the Syria Army from advancing any farther. Idlib is the first place best place in Syria for creating the neo Ottoman Empire.
If stealing Idlib fails, the neo Ottoman Empire failed.

Actions speak, this is not alleged and it is no secret. Turkey has never had plans to let go of the territory which its mercenaries have conquered with its aid.

Pooptin should make an offer to Er-Dog-Gan to get out of Idlib or there will be no S-400 for Turkey.

The splitting of Syria has been in the Zionists plan since the Bernard Lewis plan. However that plan left almost all of Syria intact while Turkey had a big chunk in Eastern Anatolia stripped from it and handed over to a proposed independent Kurdistan. Of course Turkey did not want that and hence its accession to NATO. But the creation of a pro UK/US Kurdistan entity remained high on the Western Empire’s agenda and a solution was found when the Western imperial powers decided to launch a covert aggression and invasion against Syria in 2011 deceptively dubbed as ‘civil war.’… Read more »

Brothers in Religion, Turkey has no intent to annex Idlib, but Turkey maintaining order for a short period of time would help erase many tensions.
There are many examples of annexations being unsuccessful, one such example is the blind pseudo jew Christian annexation of the Holy City Jerusalem, Golan Heights another, perhaps the best example is the Congo which is the same size now as it was before the Christian swine Paul Kagame enacted genocide on his own people then invaded the D.R. Congo.
